What does Heirloom cost?

To perform proper research, cinematically capture, and accurately edit the immense story that is your history into one film is a special task that requires a special team. Due to the time, skill and experience level the overall process and end product requires, our pricing starts at $75,000. This can scale based on scope of production, post-production, and customized deliverables.

How do I start?

Your story requires a special approach, and while we have a standard workflow at Heirloom, every project requires a one-on-one conversation with a member from our team to properly ensure both parties understand the process. To get started, fill out our initial questionnaire and a dedicated producer from our team will be in touch.

What is the product?

When working with Heirloom, the end product is based around one core deliverable: a documentary film. Typically these run around 20 minutes.

From that deliverable, we deliver a suite of assets that make up your personal digital mausoleum, including digitized family photos, films, and videos from years past, all new footage captured, and any additional assets specific to your production.

This is all delivered via an encrypted link that will allow you to share your password-protected film with family members of your choice.

How long does the process take?

Overall, the process to accurately collect background on, capture, and edit your story averages around 6-months, but the extent of this is particular to each family and their availability.

CAN YOU DIGITIZE MY FAMILY ALBUM?

From old family photos and negatives, to VHS, 16mm, and even super 8mm film, we digitize all assets necessary to tell your story. These are all elements that are foundational to the larger deliverable that you are signing onto when engaging with Heirloom.

With that said, we only provide this service as part of the larger offering.
